Principal Attorney

Prior to opening his own law practice in 2014, Jason served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City & County of Honolulu where he successfully tried numerous jury trials, including felony offenses. Jason transitioned from criminal trials to civil litigation by joining a well respected private civil law firm, concentrating on commercial litigation, construction law, real estate law, collections, and foreclosures. He then joined the boutique law firm exclusively representing condominium associations statewide in collections, foreclosures, and covenant violation matters.

During his career, he discovered that homeowners, whether self managed or through a property manager, needed trusted legal representation to protect their homes and investments they worked so hard to acquire. Many of his clients are your neighbors that worked and saved their entire lives and who may depend on rental income to supplement their fixed income in retirement. To help this segment of our community, his current practice focuses on property management, landlord tenant law, and title changes.

Jason also gives back to our communities serving as a Commissioner with the City and County of Honolulu Planning Commission which advises the Mayor, Honolulu City Council and the Director of Planning and Permitting on matters concerning planning programs, development plans, and zoning ordinances among other related duties. Jason is also the former Board Chair of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC) Oahu Region Board of Directors (2024) which oversees 2 of Oahu’s most important long term care facilities that serve some of our most vulnerable populations. Early in his career, Jason served as a Board Member for the Hawaii State Bar Association - Young Lawyers Division Board of Directors.
